Meet your HEPTO Board Members!
Co-Coordinator
Nikki Calfee
Hi! My name is Nikki Calfee and I am one of the co-coordinators of HEPTO. I am passionate about bridging the gap between education and families. I think the best way to do this is by supporting students and families, and working together with our school staff to help everyone be as successful as can be. Being a proud mom to an 11 year old I am very involved and invested in our cause. I’ve been a HEPTO member for a long time and have served on the board for three years and still enjoy showing up to every function. My favorite is watching eyes shine brightly; both little eyes and big ones. HEPTO has given me some of the best friends I could have asked for, tons of fun, and the chance to be a better part of the children’s education and wellbeing.
Co-Coordinator
Michele Baird
My name is Michele, and I’m excited to introduce myself as one of your Co-Coordinators for HEPTO! I’m a proud mom of two boys—one in 7th grade and one in 4th—and I work full-time as the office manager at a private internal medicine practice.
Volunteering has been a part of my journey since my oldest started kindergarten, and I’ve truly enjoyed being involved every step of the way. Growing up as an only child, I saw firsthand the impact a dedicated PTO can make—my mom was the president of our school’s PTO, and her commitment left a lasting impression on me.
I’m thrilled to be working with such a great group of parents and look forward to what we can accomplish together over the next two years. My goal is to help create meaningful and memorable experiences for our students and to show our incredible teachers just how much we appreciate them.
Looking forward to a fantastic year ahead!
Durban Avenue School President
Nicole Ripoll
My name is Nicole and I’m a dedicated stay-at-home mom with three children—one currently in the Hopatcong school district, one entering kindergarten, and an infant at home. I bring 20 years of experience in education, having spent 9 years as a high school English and Special Education teacher and 11 years as a preschool teacher. I decided to volunteer with the PTO because I believe deeply in the power of collaboration between parents and educators to create meaningful, effective learning experiences for all children.
Tulsa Trail School President
Autumn Reeves
My name is Autumn Reeves. I’m a proud mom of four wonderful children ranging from Pre-K through 5th grade. Our family has always been deeply involved in the community through school activities, scouting, and youth sports.
In addition to being a dedicated parent, I work as a doula and am currently pursuing my path as a student midwife. I’m also an active volunteer, passionate about supporting families and strengthening our community.
I decided to join HEPTO because I want to be even more engaged in our schools and give back to the students, teachers, and staff who do so much for our children. I’m excited for the opportunity to be part of the HEPTO board at Tulsa.
Middle School President
Natasha Routhier
Hi! I’m Natasha, and I’m excited to be serving as PTO President this year. This is my fourth year being involved with the PTO, and I originally joined because I wanted to give back to the school community and be more connected with my kids’ education.
I have two daughters—one starting kindergarten and one heading into fourth grade—so Hopatcong schools and HEPTO are a big part of our family life. I love being part of a team that helps make school a fun, welcoming place for all our families!
Secretary
Sharon Casey
My husband Chris and I have two boys who keep us busy with their sports and school activities—we’re constantly on the move! I used to be a teacher, but transitioned to being a stay-at-home mom and managing the office side of our family’s landscaping business.
Even though I’m no longer in the classroom, I really missed being involved with schools, which is what led me to join HEPTO. It’s been such a great way for me to stay connected, support teachers, and help create fun and memorable experiences for the kids. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to our school’s and look forward to a great year.
Treasurer
Dayana Vilar-Bogle
My name is Dayana Vilar-Bogle. I’m a Hopatcong transplant for the last 4 years but Jersey born and raised. My husband and I have three kids, 2nd grader, PreK 4, and a 2 year old. I work in the food and beverage industry as an area director. I love being involved with my children’s schools and activities. I am very excited to start my role in HEPTO as your new treasurer and look forward to meeting you all at an event or meeting!
Editor
Jaime Aji
Hi, I’m Jaime Aji! I’m an athletic trainer by profession and passionate about supporting students both on and off the field. I joined HEPTO to give back to the school community and contribute wherever I can—whether that’s helping at events, pitching in behind the scenes, or just being a helping hand. I love anything sports-related and enjoy reading in my downtime. I’m excited to volunteer alongside such a dedicated group and help create a positive, supportive environment for our students and families.
Fundraising Director
Lisa Stanitz
I work full time in IT Sales and a mom to a 3rd and 6th Grader. We moved to Hopatcong 7 years ago from Bergen County. I have been an active member of the community volunteering for different school and town activities since my son was in kindergarten. I was a cub scout troop leader for 4 years and then took on the Cub Master role for the following 2 years. During my time there we started the cub scout Trunk or Treat for the town and the community kindness snake. I have also coached soccer and have been a team mom for baseball too! I transitioned my scouting skills over and am currently a leader in my daughter’s Girl Scout Troop.
Last year I decided to make my volunteering time official and joined the HEPTO board as Fundraising Director. In my first year I helped start Penny Wars and the Color Run as new school activities. I look forward to working with the board and parents to bring new and exciting fundraisers to the schools!
Events Coordinator
Becky Merrill
My name is Becky Merrill, momma of a beautiful 8 year old. I volunteer for the Hopatcong Warriors as fundraising chair and am excited to use that experience as events coordinator for HEPTO. As my daughter is going into third grade I am grateful for the experience to give back and help coordinate the amazing HEPTO events I have watched her love and enjoy throughout her school years.
